RAMSGATE came into this match unbeaten in five under new manager Jason Lillis and they were good value for extending that winning run.
With conditions making things tough, they showed their class by controlling possession for the majority of the match.
Ashley Miller latched onto a long ball over the top in the 27th minute to open the scoring with a cool finish.
