BELPER Town came out on top in a hard-fought encounter with second-half goals seeing them leave Lincoln United with all three points.
Belper had an early chance to take the lead but spurned it when Charlie Dawes hit the post with a penalty.
United battled hard but conceded early in the second half when Nathan Curtis lashed the ball home.
The home side finally exerted a spell of pressure after that and came close but couldn’t find the equaliser, with Belper the more likely to find the back of the net again.
