DAN Cottle scored a hattrick as Frome put on a magnificent home performance against Basingstoke to stay top of the division.
The Robins took the lead early on as Rob Hobbs effort deflected off a Basingstoke defender and found its way into the back of the net.
Martin Linehan made it 2-0 on 20 minutes before Rex Mannings added a third on the half-hour mark.
Cottle got his first of the day just minutes later before Mannings got his brace to make it 5-0.
