STOW AIMING HIGH

FA VASE hopefuls Stowmarket Town have announced a £160,000 project to boost facilities at their Greens Meadow home to prepare them for a push towards Step 4.
The Eastern Counties Premier Division leaders aim to build a 3G pitch on land adjacent to their car park, which will also be extended.
The plans include a new West Stand, a new clubhouse with bar and offices, new perimeter pitch fencing and bigger changing rooms for match officials.
The 3G pitch will allow the club, who have played at the ground since 1983, to relocate all of its 17 senior and junior teams to one facility.
