AFC CROYDON Athletic have been told that no charges will be brought against their players over allegations of racist abuse that led to their Southern Counties East Premier home game against Fisher being abandoned.
Proceedings were brought to a halt in the 58th minute of the game on December 28 when Fisher’s players walked off the pitch after, it was alleged by the visitors, that a Croydon player “made a racially abusive comment.” The London FA immediately launched an investigation into the allegations but have said that no charges with be brought.
