CINDERFORD upset the apple cart with a clinical win over fourth-placed Winchester City.
Ollie Griggs shot just wide after neat build-up play as the hosts came out firing.
But Cinderford took command as James Harding turned home a free-kick on 14 minutes.
City piled on the pressure, with Rob Carr and Oli Bailey both wasting a pair of good chances to level terms.
The visitors turned the screw as Lewis Bamford double the lead.
Bailey pulled a goal back and Cinderford’s Sam Turl was given his marching orders after a second yellow.
