SOUTH EAST
HERNE BAY bounced back to pick up a deserved win at Phoenix Sports.
Bay started the game strongly and scored early on with Tushaun- Tyrese Walters finished off a flowing team move.
The visitors controlled the first half, without hugely threatening the home keeper although they were probably unfortunate to see a shout for a penalty turned down in the 20th minute.
Phoenix improved in the second half, putting the pressure on
The later the game got the more Phoenix pushed forward and they were punished for their endeavour by late strikes from Zak Ansah and Dean Grant.
