FAVERSHAM and Hastings both missed penalties in a match defined by two spot-kicks. Promotion favourites Hastings had the majority of possession, but rarely looked like penetrating a well-drilled Lilywhites side.
In a game of few chances, the first key moment came after 25 minutes when Town centre-half Matt Bourne - who re-signed in the week - had his legs taken from beneath him in the box.
Harry Harding stepped up, but his poorly-struck penalty was easily saved by gopalkeeper Louis Rogers.
