WHITEHAWK picked up their first league win of the season with a routine win at Phoenix Sports.
Hawks’ captain Henry Muggeridge went close early on, before a tale of three penalties dominated the outcome of the game.
The first wasn’t given, when Ronald Sobawale was brought down in the 20th minute. The ref said no, but was in no doubt a few minutes later, when Fitchett pushed Muggeridge. Lucas Rodriguez fired in and Whitehawk had the lead, which they kept until the half-time break.
