A FLYING start was enough for Welwyn Garden City to take victory.
The home side started brightly and found the net just six minutes in.
Robbie Buchanen had his shot saved but Kempston keeper Peter Denton could only parry the ball into Jack Vasey’s patch and he slotted home.
Welwyn went into halftime with the lead but there were warning signs from the visitors.
Just five minutes into the second half, Kempston managed to get their equaliser as Ricardo Green whipped an inch-perfect ball into the box for Jordan Slama to head home.
