■ AFC Sudbury stemmed a late Witham fightback to record a convincing win and move into the play-off places.
Ben Hunter fired the home side in front after 15 minutes before Emmanuel Machaya drilled a shot past Rhys Madden. Joe Whight made it three as he curled home a free-kick after 41 minutes.
Machaya scored his second and Sudbury’s fourth early in the second period and it stayed that way until the 77th minute when a superb shot from Billy Willis went in off the crossbar for Witham.
