COLNE won to remain joint-top of the table on 19-points while possesing a game in hand.
Colne made the breakthrough after 23 minutes when Reece Webb-Foster struck a pile driver of a shot from 25 yards out that Prescot goalkeeper Mitchell Allen could not keep out despite getting both hands to the ball.
Prescot looked for a reply early in the second half but struggled to break though with- Jamie Rainford’s well placed shot only fidning the safe hands of Danny Thorpe in the Colne goal.
