CITY of Liverpool’s return to league action saw them win in convincing style as Michael Ellison’s side demolished Pontefract Collieries.
Jack Hazlehurst opened the scoring after 12 minutes with a right-footed finish over Mikey Emery.
Stephen Rigby then doubled the lead when a devastating counter attack released Mitch Bryant down the right.
Rigby then finished the move he started by hammering a left-footed finish home after cutting in from the right of the Colls box.
