HADLEY picked up their first points of the season with a hard-earned win against AFC Dunstable.
Dunstable made the livelier start, but the two best early chances fell to Hadley, with Dylan Ebengo and Isaac Stones squandering great opportunities to put the home side ahead.
The goal did come, though, after 15 minutes with a well-struck penalty from Luke Alfano after Stones was felled in the box.
After the break, Jordan Edwards blazed over the bar when well positioned to double Hadley’s lead.
