■ AMBITIOUS Bashley stumbled head-on into Bristol Manor Farm’s best performance of the season. Without a league win, the Farmy Army dominated from start to finish against a Bashley side unchanged from a sparkling midweek win over Willand Rovers.
The only surprise was that it took until the 85th minute for them to break through, when Owen Brain sent Evander Grubb clear wide left and he cut in to beat the excellent Ross Casey at his near post.
