LANCING looked well in control in the early stages and went ahead through Lukas Franzen-Jones after six minutes - but lost their way against Sevenoaks.
George Taggart’s freekick was not cleared and the ball fell to Franzen-Jones who gave the home side the lead. As the half progressed, Sevenoaks began to cause problems for the Lancing defence, with Fumnaya Shomotun proving to be a real handful using his pace and close control.
It was Sevenoaks poor finishing which allowed Lancing to maintain a 1-0 lead at half-time.
