YATE Town had a dream start to the game as they raced into a three-goal lead.
Firstly, Joe Hall’s speculative shot from 30 yards deceived Russell in the Exmouth goal after six minutes and then Dylan Lewis’ shot from the edge of the area after 24 minutes doubled the lead.
Two minutes later, Brandon Oputeri’s spectacular effort had the home side in control, before Ben Steer pulled a goal back for Exmouth.
But despite dominating for long periods of the second half Exmouth, who had boss Kevin Hill sent off, could not find a way past Aaron Sains...
