PAULTON faced off against Bashley, coming off worse in a fixture that was ultimately abandoned due to torrential rain.
A scramble in the Bashley goalmouth saw two shots saved on the line before Paulton winger Wayne Nderemani broke beautifully in from the left and fired a shot just wide of the Bashley goal.
Bashley reestablished some control in the second half, winning a penalty in the 52nd minute as Conor Whiteley was brought down, Brett Williams giving Jepson no chance with a firm strike.
