■ RAMSGATE got off to a slow start as Beckenham hit the crossbar belying their league position.
The home side took the lead against the run of play when Jack Parter controlled a ball high standards. A very tense just outside the area with one match saw Beckenham make touch and stuck superbly.
Having scored, Ramsgate started to move the ball quickly as tried to build on their lead. They made the brighter start to the second half as they gained more control but still not up to recent high standards. A very tense match saw Beckenham make life difficult...
