IT was a game of two■halves at the Dransfield Stadium as Ashington ran out 5-0 winners following a second-half onslaught.
The Villagers did all but score in the first half, with Josh and Levi Tarbotton going close.
Wilson Kneeshaw opened the scoring after 48 minutes, following up his own shot that was blocked.
Kneeshaw doubled his side’s lead, before Connor Thomson slotted past Jordan Douglas for the visitors’ third goal.
Ashington were then awarded a penalty and Thomson stepped up to score his second.
