■and Kieron Whittaker saw Sporting Khalsa claim the points as they sunk Shepshed Dynamo.
The deadlock was broken in the 17th minute when Ward rose highest to power in a header.
Shortly after the opener, James McGrady came within inches of doubling
Khalsa’s lead when his header bounced off the crossbar.
