■ THE scoreline did not deceive as the Larks put their Devon visitors convincingly to the sword.
Quickly earning a corner, the home side took an early lead through Dawid Regula, who capitalised on a lively pass from Alex Lambert.
Shortly after, Archie Ferris doubled the lead with a powerful header.
Despite Regula’s near miss off a post from a precise pass by Spencer Dymond-Hall, the Exmouth keeper faced further challenges.
Lambert extended the lead with a long-range strike from Ferris’ pass.
