HEDNESFORD Town kicked off a run of festive fixtures at home as 1874 Northwich visited for a six- -pointer relegation battle, resulting in a draw.
The Pitmen were slow out of the gate and conceded a goal in the fourth minute, with Jamie Nicholson netting a low drive.
The home side remained under the cosh before a neat move from Jai Verma set up Jack Kelly to finish with a thunderous strike from the left of the box, levelling the scores.
