A 96th-MINUTE leveller by substitute Kanye Nisbett rescued Trafford in a windy game at the Away Day Care Shawe View Stadium.
Trafford’s keeper Sam Booth produced two fine saves to thwart Will Jones and James Steele.
And just after the break, Beckett saw his curling drive cleared off the line by Widnes full-back Matty Rain.
The visitors took the lead against the run of play in the 56th minute when Sean Miller fired into the roof of the net from close range.
