NORTH Ferriby FC scored a goal in each half to grab the three points from visitors Brighouse Town.
Tom Corner grabbed the first goal of the game when debutant Harry Lovick played a well delivered free-kick into the Brighouse area. The ball hit the head of a player in the crowded box and the ball crashed off a post, then back off Corner and into the back of the net.
The Villagers seemed comfortable and efforts from McCauley Snelgrove and Corner nearly doubled the lead before the break.
