THERE have been worse goalless draws seen at Alwyns Lane, but memories needed to be long to recall such.
Sutton Common Rovers were resolute in defence and never allowed their hosts to dominate in their back yard.
Town were also strong in defence with Sutton rarely looking dangerous.
Neither goalkeeper was put under severe pressure. Chertsey won the corner kicks competition with 11 being awarded, but not one created a problem for the visitors.
