■ KIDSGROVE Athletic gave their supporters lots of Christmas cheer as they put five past 1874 Northwich to move within a point of the play-off places.
The game was less than a minute old when Joe Woolley went through one on one with Ellis Allen before side-footing the ball into the bottom corner.
It was 2-0 when Mason Fawns saw his header from a cross find the top corner of the net.
