■ THE Christmas Bedford- A6 derby game shire ended in stalemate at the Winton Haulage Stadium in Barton as both teams battled well in blustery conditions.
Bedford had an early site of goal, but Cam Groom in between the goalposts for Rovers saved well.
Cheyce Grant had Rovers’ best effort of the half, but his goal-bound effort was headed clear.
Stalemate at half-time, the second half was more of the same, both sides with chances, but nothing clear cut.
