■ THE Christmas spirit was lacking at Plain Ham as the Larks were well beaten by their Bristol visitors.
Manor Farm were on the front foot from the outset, and Danny Dodimead opened their account.
Shortly afterwards, Manor Farm’s Mason Winter received a red card for a challenge on Harvey Pritchard. The ten men reacted positively and were awarded a penalty which was dispatched by Jayden Nielsen.
The Larks’ woes worsened when the visitors’ Owen Brain fired past Arthur Nasta, and then the home side missed the penalty.
