WALSALL Wood and Cambridge City had to settle for a point each at the John Sylvester Stadium.
Cambridge went close to scoring in the opening minute with a header from inside the six-yard box sailing over the the crossbar and their pressure finally paid off in the 22nd minute when Mikey Davis’ shot ended up in the net.
The equaliser came five minutes before half-time, Charlie Manners rolling the ball into the corner of the net.
