■ MALVERN Town put in an accomplished performance at home to bottom of the table Exmouth Town.
The game sparked into life after 36 minutes when Matt MacDonald unleashed a free-kick on the edge of the area low into the net.
Ethan Slater looked like he had equalised five minutes later but his effort was judged not to have crossed the line.
It took a penalty for the hosts to double the lead with Jack Watts firing home after 68 minutes.
