■ WILL Saxon provided a spark that ignited his Runcorn Linnets teammates as they over-ran fellow promotion play-offs hopefuls Clitheroe.
His fine solo effort, going in off a post, was followed by a neat assist for Mackenzie O’Neill – a five-minute flurry that cancelled out Sefton Gonazles’ opener.
