■ TAVISTOCK took the spoils after a Joe O’Loughlin strike secured the points midway through the first half.
Both sides threatened during the early exchanges with Ben Brooks nearly stabbing home a fine cross from Oscar Bridgeman for the home side. Bridgeman was lively on the Melk- sham right wing and got himself into a number of good positions early in the game. The deadlock was broken by the away side when a diagonal cross-field pass was controlled and sent in from the left for the onrushing O’Loughlin who beat Joel Manning.
