■ AN early red card left Chasetown with an uphill battle which ended in an emphatic defeat at Clitheroe.
Defender Luke McGinnell was shown a straight red as the last man as Clitheroe’s Eden Bailey headed for goal on the edge of the box.
The pressure told late in the first half when a short corner was laid to Ben Collins whose cross was deflected goalwards by Eden Bailey, with Simon Njaria bundling the ball home.
The second half followed a similar pattern and goals flowed from the immense Sefton Gonzales, Amaar Hussain and Jack Massey.
