■ LANCING showed that they had not suffered any loss of confidence after their 4-2 away defeat by Sevenoaks and were good value for their win against struggling Phoenix Sports.
Lukas Franzen-Jones set them on the road, latching on to a long ball from keeper Louis Rogers to calmly loft the ball over keeper Andrew Walker after 21 minutes. George Taggart provided the pass to put Franzen-Jones through to get his and Lancing’s second after 53 minutes.
