YATE TOWN’S ten-game unbeaten run came to an end as Wimborne maintained their place at the top of the table.
After an even opening half hour in which the Bluebells captain Joe Guest went close with a header, it was two quickfire goals just after the half hour that won the game.
A Matt Neale free-kick on the left was headed home by Jack Lovell in the 31st minute and three minutes later, following a mistake in the Yate Town defence, Matt Burrows found himself clear and he
slotted the ball past Aaron Sainsbury.
