CLITHEROE ran out worthy winners with their new-look side, but not before Vauxhall had given them a few scares.
After 30 minutes, Amaar Hussain picked up a measured ball and lofted it superbly over the keeper to open the scoring.
Barely had the second half started before Emmerich Poilly was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box, but Hakan Burton parried away Connor Rankin’s penalty.
