LOWESTOFT TOWN surrendered top spot in the Isthmian League North Division after suffering a defeat at Brightlingsea Regent.
The hosts started well at North Road and found themselves ahead after just 13 minutes, courtesy of Teddy Collins getting the better of Trawlerboys’ stop per Luke Holt. The Visitors struggled to respond and were not able to apply any sustained pressure on the Rs before the break.
