JAY Malshanskyj got the only goal of the game as Bishops Cleeve won at Yate.
Malshanskyj struck after only 10 minutes, cutting in from the left and firing past Aaron Sainsbury.
Yate had an early chance with Nick McCootie firing over, before Toby Holland tested Sainsbury from long range, his shot being tipped over the bar.
Yate then dominated as the half closed with Bishops Cleeve keeper Lewis Clayton saving well from James Taylor and Wayne Nderemani before saving McCootie’s penalty.
