CLITHEROE’S hopes of making the play-offs were dealt a blow when Fidel O’Rourke levelled for Prescot Cables to deny them all three points.
The home side started in cagey fashion and could have gone behind after four minutes when Kyle Sambour sprang the offside trap but finished poorly.
Clitheroe soaked up the pressure and turned the tables when Sefton Gonzales chested down a deep ball on the edge of the box, before laying Jack Massey through to steady himself and bury a great finish.
