BOTH sides had to settle for a point in a match played in blustery conditions.
However, despite the conditions, the game proved to be an entertaining affair at Sharpenhoe Road even though neither team could find the goal that would have given them victory. Waltham Abbey had the better of the first half chances, their closest effort hitting the crossbar.
Rovers were happy to sit and defend in the swirling wind, although the second half saw them open up the play more, and they went close on a couple of occasions.
