SHEPPEY United edged out Herne Bay thanks to Jacob Lambert’s winner.
It was a very even first half an hour with a couple of very good chances for both sides.
The best effort came from Ites Danny Leonard whose shot smashed against the bar. The deadlock was broken when Olamilekan Majoyegbe drilled a low drive across Harry Brooks into the corner. It was a strong start to the second half from Bay.
