THE Larks were well worth their 1-0 half-time lead. In the 24th minute, an unmarked Matt Bowman headed past Frankie Phillips in the Paulton goal following a pinpoint cross from Max Williams.
Paulton’s problems increased soon after as injured defender Dan Restorick was unable to continue.
Rovers improved in the second half but their hopes were dashed in the 61st minute when the referee showed a red card to midfielder Joe Hall for a seemingly innocuous challenge.
