CITY of Liverpool won against Nantwich Town to strengthen their grip on a play-off place.
The Purps took the lead through a Danny Mitchley penalty after a push in the box was given by the referee.
That was Mitchley’s sixth spot-kick goal in his last five games. In the second half, City of Liverpool doubled their lead after a ball to the back post caught out a switched-off Nantwich defence and ended with Nathan Okome putting the ball in his own net.
