A goal three minutes from time by skipper Charlie Greenwood salvaged a point for a below-par Merstham. The home side had started well but Korrey Henry missed the target from close range.
After 20 minutes, Greenwood forced a fine save from Wasps’ keeper Matte Pearson and Ollie Khinda’s follow-up effort was blocked on the line. A minute before the interval, Oluremi Onabanjo was tripped in the box and Glenn Wilson scored the penalty.
