■PRESCOT deserv- earned the three edly points at Trafford to secure a home play-off tie against Bootle on Tuesday night.
The visitors edged the opening stages without troubling Trafford keeper Sam Booth but as halftime approached the hosts dominated with Harry Norris volleying over and Jerome Wright rifling a shot into the roof of the net that was ruled out for offside.
Cables were on top for most of the second half with Liam Hollett and Kyle Sambor both going close.
