Keith McMahon returns to Phoenix Sports as manager

Keith McMahon has taken over as manager of Pitching In South East side .

The former chief was briefly assistant manager to Steve O’Boyle last season, departing after seven weeks in November 2023.

O’Boyle resigned on May 8 after guiding the club to 16th place last year, nine points clear of relegation.

Speaking of McMahon’s appointment, the official club website wrote:

“With so many quality applicants this was far from an easy decision but, for many different reasons the Club Committee felt that all in all Keith came out as their first choice for the position.

“Keith is well known to the club and has a wealth of knowledge & experience at this level.

“All the Phoenix Board & Committee are very keen & enthusiastic to welcome Keith to the club in his new role.”
