HANWORTH Villa and Raynes Park opened their league campaigns with a high-octane draw at Rectory Meadow.
The home side bolstered their squad during the summer giving league debuts to Christian Jolley, Shane Dunne, Manny Parry and Mark Smith. Villa had the best of the opening stages hitting both the crossbar and a post. It was the home side that opened the scoring in the 15th minute as last season’s top scorer, Kyen Nicholas, latched onto a great cross to tap the ball into an open net.
