IT was a baptism of fire as The Rockies faced Malvern Town in their first-ever Step 4 game.
Though Malvern Town dominated the game, full credit is due to the Shaftesbury defence for holding out during the early onslaught from the Hillsiders, who came forward like a Roman Legion on the front foot.
