■ DIDCOT started life in Division One South by edging past Larkhall Athletic in a tight encounter that perhaps merited a draw.
Larkhall were initially the better side and the Railwaymen had keeper Leigh Bedwell to thank for denying Spencer Dymond-Hall from close range.
Didcot showed little attacking force until the second half, where Luke Preen was twice put through, failing to beat keeper Isaac Finch on both occasions.

Luke Carnell then flicked a header into Finch’s path as Preen was bundled over in the area, earning his side a penalt...
